Zurich, August 11, 2026 +++ Swiss Interim GmbH in Zurich, an independent premium provider of temporary specialist and executive placement services, is restructuring its leadership team: Swiss Interim is strengthening its team with André Meier as a partner and member of the executive board. The experienced interim management expert has held his new position since August 1, 2026. He will support Managing Director Marlise Stauffer, particularly in new client acquisition and the management of key accounts. In addition, he will help further expand Swiss Interim’s diverse pool of managers and oversee selected C-level assignments.

Proven expert in the Swiss interim market

For more than 25 years, André Meier has been supporting Swiss companies in the financial services, insurance, medical technology, transportation, energy, manufacturing, ICT, healthcare, retail, and public administration in finding suitable interim executives—for example, for challenging transformation, restructuring, and digitalization projects. When he is tasked with filling key C-level positions on an interim basis, boards of directors and executive management teams are his first points of contact. Accordingly, André Meier has an extensive network at the board and C-level within the Swiss business community. He has built this network over decades.

Sought-After Leader on Boards of Directors and Executive Boards

As Chairman of the Board of Directors of Elektra Rudolfstetten-Friedlisberg AG, he is responsible, among other things, for the strategic direction of the electric utility. He is also responsible for representing the company externally, particularly to shareholders, partners, and the public. As a member of the executive board of the Association of Aargau Electricity Suppliers (VAS), André Meier represents the interests of approximately 100 electricity suppliers in the canton of Aargau, serving a total of 450,000 end customers. Prior to joining Swiss Interim, André Meier worked for well-known interim staffing firms in Switzerland.

Cultivating Personal Relationships

“I place great value on personal relationships,” says André Meier. “I cultivate these relationships through direct interaction. At the same time, I’m very much looking forward to familiarizing myself with Swiss Interim’s digital marketing and sales processes.” With Matchmaker, the first search engine for interim management, Swiss Interim has one of the most advanced IT solutions in this field. Users can independently search for suitable specialists and executives based on their skills—thereby significantly speeding up the selection process. “We combine both approaches: On the one hand, digital processes—some of which are AI-powered—increase our efficiency in placement. On the other hand, the trust that companies place in our experienced client advisors is usually the deciding factor in the end,” explains Marlise Stauffer, Managing Director of Swiss Interim. “Digitalization and AI are important. But interim management is and always will be a people business.”
