The client is a global healthcare company with more than 800 employees in 16 countries in Europe. In 2018, the interim manager initially took on the task of developing a concept for a harmonized induction programme for the clinical field service for Europe and setting up the project.
Blended learning concept and new sales and marketing approach
Since May 2019, she has been managing the project as an interim manager together with a steering group. The centerpiece is a blended learning concept for identified key competencies and the Europe-wide rollout of a new sales and marketing approach. Based on a structured analysis at the beginning of the project, the interim manager built on as many existing approaches as possible and on the values of the organization and regularly involved internal stakeholders.
Agile approaches such as Working out Loud in the implementation
The change is considerable for the affected area. In addition to her extensive experience, the interim manager also uses new agile approaches (e.g. Working out Loud, WOL). The implementation plan also includes the roll-out of a new Learning Management System (LMS), the creation of eLearning tutorials and the development of a recruiting toolbox in collaboration with the HR department.
Project team on schedule and sponsors satisfied with the progress
In addition to her broad HR experience, the interim manager benefits from her conceptual and methodological expertise as a project manager. She has already successfully managed several global projects as a salaried HR manager and understands how to deal with change and different cultures.
The implementation of the project is currently (November 2019) in full swing. A large number of measures have already been implemented. The project team is on schedule and the sponsors are satisfied with the progress.
