Faurecia Kunststoffe Automobilsysteme GmbH in Ingolstadt, a wholly owned subsidiary of Faurecia Exteriors Systems, was no longer to be part of the original Faurecia S.A. group of companies. The vacant HR manager position with two employees in Ingolstadt and the associated training as well as one employee near Heilbronn was no longer to be filled on a permanent basis. In addition to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, this HR interim mandate as HR manager primarily involved
- the professional handling of the existing reconciliation of interests
- the implementation of the social plan for the planned spin-off and
- conducting discussions with the works councils.
Filling vacant positions and supporting labor court disputes was another key part of the task. In addition, the health management for the three company locations with a total of more than 400 employees had to be redesigned.
More and more companies are recognizing the health of their employees as a corporate policy task and are actively and systematically promoting health. In these projects, the HR interim manager developed a company agreement to put health management on a solid legal footing. Above all, he encouraged middle managers to see health management as a matter of their own interest and, for example, to introduce and conduct sickness return interviews. The measures introduced have made it possible to significantly reduce the current sickness rate.
