More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in setting up and optimizing controlling structures in medium-sized (family-owned) companies. One focus of her work is to take controlling and reporting as well as the business processes of smaller company units to the next level following transactions or growth spurts. As an expert in this form of post-merger integration and organizational development, she is particularly adept at quickly bringing together processes and teams from a wide variety of organizational forms and circumstances. The interim manager seeks mandates in controlling for SMEs and corporate groups, both on the buyer and seller side. She is happy to travel abroad for this.
The business graduate has been working as an independent interim manager and consultant since 2020. During this time, she has successfully completed six projects by May 2026. Her special expertise in the development of organizations, processes and teams is demonstrated by the fact that a client repeatedly engaged her between 2022 and 2026 to bring the controlling of new units of the holding company up to the level of the parent company. in 2021, she built up the controlling of a private equity company (spin-off from a DAX group) as interim investment controller. Her main tasks included preparing forecasts, budgets and medium-term plans as well as variance analyses.
Controlling executive with a background ranging from global corporation to family business
Before becoming self-employed, the interim manager was most recently Director Finance & Controlling at the subsidiary of an internationally operating global market leader in medical technology. In this role, she played a key role in transforming the finance and controlling processes of the medium-sized, family-owned company to the international group level following its sale to a listed global corporation from Japan. She also gained international controlling experience during the sale of her employer to a listed US group.
The interim manager's clients particularly benefit from her down-to-earth and hands-on approach. In combination with her extremely appreciative and empathetic communication, this enables her to create a positive atmosphere of success even in tense situations and to win over internal and external stakeholders for the task.
She is just as convincing in hierarchically managed family businesses as she is in the matrix organization of international corporations. In numerous international projects, including in various African countries, as well as on assignments abroad lasting several months (Serbia, India), the interim manager has been able to continuously deepen her intercultural skills. This is reflected in her multilingualism: she speaks fluent English and French. She also has basic knowledge of Italian, Dutch and Chinese.
This gives the interim manager a very good combination of professional expertise, international experience and personality for challenging mandates in controlling.
