More about the interim manager
The interim manager has been self-employed as an interim CTO and expert in integrated product development since 2013. His work focuses on product development, value analysis, strategy development as well as organizational management and change management - as an interim manager or consultant. His clients include a number of international companies in the automotive and electronics industries.
The interim manager has in-depth methodological knowledge of the processes for qualifying products in accordance with ISO 26262 (functional safety), agile software development and value analysis. As an experienced development manager for the automotive industry, he is just as familiar with the processes of a planning process based on gates or milestones as he is with the management of interdisciplinary development teams in Germany and abroad with a focus on deadlines, quality and costs.
As a doctor of mechanical engineering, the interim manager began his professional career as a project manager in electronics production at Philips in the Netherlands. He then worked for more than 20 years in senior positions in product development for the automotive industry, including at Siemens VDO and TRW Automotive.
He has worked as a consultant and interim manager at Tech Mahindra, Rogers, Samsung, BYD and Huawei and as interim CTO at RRC power solutions and Envipco. As an interim manager at Webasto, he helped set up a new product line in a new business area. His industrial focus is on the automotive industry, automation technology, the electronics sector and apparatus engineering.
Due to his strong technical design and analytical skills, which complement his excellent methodical knowledge of integrated product development, the interim manager is a sought-after candidate when it comes to expanding the product portfolio with innovative products. Here, the interim manager is particularly interested in electromobility, autonomous driving and robotics with artificial intelligence as well as recycling in the sense of circular value creation.
His experience in management work in post-merger situations and as a change and transformation manager allows him to lead agile developments or lean organizations in the start-up environment. He is also very familiar with working with external partners to create rapid growth.
