More about the interim manager
As CRO, general manager and troubleshooter, the interim manager has been assuming management responsibility for medium-sized industrial companies in crisis situations since 2013. He implements measures from IDW S6 reports quickly and effectively. In reorganization, restructuring and M&A processes, he unites the interests of stakeholders, owners, employees, banks and consultants to find viable solutions.
In his most recent mandate, the interim manager restructured a well-known automotive supplier as interim CRO. In two years, he achieved the turnaround and improved the operating result by more than ten percent to a black zero. At a manufacturer of wallbox charging cables, he reorganized a business unit and ensured that the series production of the first e-car of an English premium manufacturer could start on schedule. As Managing Director of an international test equipment manufacturer with locations in Germany, the USA, Mexico, Singapore and China, he successfully realigned the company.
International experience from mandates and line functions
Before becoming self-employed, the interim manager held positions including Managing Director at an American private equity company, Operations Director (Cummins and Danaher) and Head of Strategic Projects at Deutz. He successfully transferred his expertise and qualifications in lean management methods from international American companies to German SMEs. He acquired the technical, organizational and business management basics at the TU Darmstadt (mechanical engineering) and RWTH Aachen (industrial engineering).
His way of working is hands-on, analytical, process-focused and results-oriented based on facts and figures. By involving employees and stakeholders, he succeeds in transforming companies in the international environment as well as in German SMEs and leading them on a long-term path to success.
