More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an internationally experienced expert for production in the automotive industry. In addition to his particular expertise in production optimization (OEE/GAE), especially for plastic parts, he has strong qualities as a troubleshooter: he has repeatedly made a significant contribution to meeting endangered S&OP deadlines and avoiding line stoppages at OEMs and suppliers. In addition, the engineering graduate takes on interim mandates in the areas of production preparation (IATF 16949), launch, ramp-up and supply chain.
In one of his most recent projects, the interim manager introduced important automation measures at a tier 1 supplier in the USA after analyzing the production processes, thereby significantly reducing cycle times. In another assignment, as head of a task force at a supplier, he prevented production line downtimes at OEMs.
Extensive international experience and intercultural expertise
The interim manager (self-employed since 2016) offers OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers extensive international experience: projects and mandates have taken him to Malaysia (Proton), India (Ford), China (VW, GM), Japan (Mazda), Austria (Jaguar), Mexico (Audi), the USA (BMW) and Poland (VW, GM, BMW, Daimler, Volvo), among others. For twelve years, he was Managing Director of Advanced Plastics Technology in Malaysia and Director of Operations Asia at Kautex Textron.
In his assignments, the engineering graduate always seeks to be close to everyone involved. He moves just as confidently in the circle of board members and managers as he does in production.
