More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in the management of transformation and restructuring projects in the social economy, particularly in the care of the disabled, children, young people and the elderly. With his many years of experience in companies as well as social and municipal organizations, he provides efficient and empathetic support to institutions in overcoming crises and tackling change with confidence. The expert is usually mandated as interim CEO or interim manager. He also takes on the management of change projects or is available to management boards as a sparring partner.
In his most recent mandates as an interim manager (since 2021), he has successfully managed two residential child and youth welfare facilities. From 2023 to summer 2024, he led the SOS Children's Village Brandenburg as interim manager through a comprehensive organizational and economic restructuring and thus secured the existence of the previously endangered facility. Prior to that (2022/2023), he designed and managed the challenging change process of a residential child and youth welfare facility at Caritas as interim manager.
During the refugee crisis, he was able to support refugees and migrants with their integration into the training and employment market on behalf of the Saarland state government, initially through a charitable foundation and later with his own training institute. Prior to this, the interim manager held management positions in an international IT group and managed the asset management of a traditional private bank.
Empathetic manager with extensive expertise in the real and social economy
Clients value the interim manager's diverse experience in companies and social institutions. He knows the mechanisms of the profit-oriented economy as well as the special features of the non-profit sector and also sees his role as a mediator between these worlds.
One of the expert's particular strengths is his ability to create a trusting and open working atmosphere in a short space of time. He finds it easy to connect with people, win them over and inspire them. Clients and employees also appreciate his calm and level-headed approach - even in tense crisis situations. He resolves difficult conflict constellations in organizations and teams with tact and empathy. Respect and a good eye for situations and people are essential elements of his way of working. With these qualities, he creates a high level of acceptance among a wide range of stakeholders - and thus the prerequisites for solutions that are supported by everyone. True to his motto: with good human relationships, (almost) anything is possible.
