More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in growth and the international expansion of companies for industrial measurement technology and non-destructive testing. He has repeatedly successfully built up powerful business units all over the world, identified new technical fields of application and conquered markets with targeted product tailoring. He combines strategic management and business development skills with operational expertise in marketing, sales and product management. The expert takes on mandates in management (interim CEO), in business development and as head of international growth initiatives, preferably at internationally operating SMEs, but also in international corporations.
The growth expert has been an interim manager and advisory board member since 2023. In his first mandate as Business Director EU & ROW, he was responsible for driving the growth of a globally active Dutch company for the inspection and condition assessment of pipelines. Since June 2023, he has also held an advisory board position at a French deep-tech start-up in the oil and gas market.
Before becoming self-employed, the expert spent seven years as Managing Director at a global measurement technology company, where he was responsible for geographical expansion. He made a significant contribution to transforming his employer's European business into the greater Europe-Middle East-Asia-Australia region. This included setting up sales offices in Australia, Singapore, China and the UAE - and resulted in a 57% increase in turnover to 30 million dollars. In another project, he integrated the portfolio of an acquisition, realigned sales, managed the construction of a new factory and put the plant into operation with optimized production processes.
Entrepreneurial physicist combines technical and commercial thinking
The interim manager is a dynamic, entrepreneurial personality. One of his strengths is that the graduate physicist combines a technical and commercial mindset and uses this as a basis for developing business development strategies with traction. In doing so, he thinks from a market perspective and makes customer needs the decisive yardstick. Due to his career, he is very adept at designing truly suitable technical solutions in collaboration with product management and technical functions - and selling them successfully with his international sales excellence. In addition, the interim manager has repeatedly implemented restructurings and merged regional organizations.
As part of his advisory board activities, the interim manager advises and monitors a technology start-up in measurement and testing technology in Paris - with the aim of entering the market in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
