More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an internationally experienced executive with a special focus on the energy industry. He also offers his clients extensive expertise from numerous management roles in the mobility industry. A particular focus of his work is on transformation processes in the energy industry: especially with regard to the climate neutrality that many companies are striving for and the increased use of renewable energies - and the associated regulatory requirements. As an expert in operational excellence, he is also well versed in the digitalization of processes in SMEs in the energy industry - from ERP systems and grid operations to customer portals.
In his most recent mandate (2022 to 2024), the expert was entrusted with the future project of a large municipal energy company in southern Germany. As program manager, he led nine complex sub-projects. Among other things, he was responsible for the introduction of an ERP system (SAP) and the comprehensive digitalization of numerous processes contributed significantly to creating the basis for achieving the goal of climate neutrality in 2035. Prior to this mandate, he led the Danish subsidiary of a German mobility service provider out of the red as interim CEO. Through digitalization and optimization of operational excellence, he increased cost efficiency by 30 percent within 24 months.
Experienced energy and mobility expert - also for international assignments
Before becoming self-employed, the business administration graduate was most recently Director Operations and a member of the Executive Committee of the German mobility service provider, before which he spent four years as an Associate Partner in the Brussels office of a strategy consultancy and market research firm in the field of connected mobility. During this time and in management roles in companies in the transport industry, the interim manager developed far above-average expertise in the regulation of energy, mobility and transport companies.
With his many years of work abroad (including ten years in the UK and three years in the Netherlands) as well as numerous assignments in the USA, China and Russia, the expert is well prepared for foreign assignments in Europe and overseas. The Mexican-born German also offers his clients trilingualism (German, English and Spanish) as well as above-average intercultural skills. In combination with his strong communication skills, this makes him a business partner who is accepted as a partner and leader by stakeholders at all levels.
