More about the interim manager
The business graduate and former Roland Berger consultant has been working as a consultant and interim manager in a wide range of industries since 2006. He often supports his clients in medium-sized companies and corporate groups in optimizing their operational controlling. For example, he takes the helm as Head of Controlling, Commercial Project Manager or Senior Controller. Another focus is advising on the application for and management of publicly funded projects.
The interim manager graduated from the University of Augsburg with a degree in business administration. During his studies, he already worked as a management consultant (Roland Berger, Consultatio, student management consultancy). After completing his business studies, he worked as an employee responsible for setting up a new business unit in Stuttgart. This activity included strategy development, the development of the product and service portfolio and the establishment of a seven-person team.
The interim manager then worked at ufthansa in the Miles & More division. There he supported the core team in building up this business segment. Based on his controlling expertise, the service portfolio was sharpened in financial terms. This enabled projects with higher returns to be implemented with the accounts gained. Finally, he played a key role in the design and implementation of a new consulting unit in Gütersloh. There he was jointly responsible for the definition and conception of the new business area. He also acquired and managed very large mandates with large teams (more than 20 employees).
The interim manager uses his strong analytical skills as a starting point and is able to define and implement solutions at short notice. He always has the big picture in mind and is able to motivate employees. With his know-how and experience, he promotes the initiative of the teams in a targeted manner in order to anchor the success of the project in the company in the long term.
