More about the interim manager
As a C-level executive, multiple start-up founder, interim manager and consultant, the interim manager has transformed the way numerous companies think and act. With this expertise, he is the ideal partner for companies that want to drive digitalization, agility and innovation. The interim manager stands for a holistic approach: his expertise ranges from business models, products and technology as well as software to the ability to establish a digital mindset and modern forms of organization in companies and among the people in the company.
He takes on management positions in product development, in the technology department and innovation department - as well as management responsibility for digitization topics: from mindset to organizational forms, methods and processes to IT.
Already during his studies, the interim manager worked as a consultant and trainer for IBM in the field of robotics. After graduating with a degree in engineering from the Technical University of Munich, he founded his first start-up. This was followed by further start-ups with venture capital funding of between 1.2 million euros and 29 million US dollars. Through an investment by Sun Microsystems, the funding of a Silicon Valley VC and exit negotiations with Google, among others, he had numerous work stays in Silicon Valley.
In 2011, he took on his first job as an interim manager at a start-up. Two years later, he was able to get to know both the world of small and medium-sized companies and the world of international corporations at ProSiebenSat.1. This was followed by numerous consulting projects.
The interim manager is also an international keynote speaker - listed as a top 100 entrepreneur by Speakers Excellence. In 2018 and 2019, he was recognized by customers as a top service provider and top recommendation on the Proven Expert rating platform. He is the owner of numerous patents and brands.
Exceptional projects included the expansion of the technology team at ProSiebenSat.1 Maxdome (quadrupling) and the agile transformation at ProSiebenSat.1 Maxdome and Red Bull Media House.
The interim manager can quickly familiarize himself with new topics and has a great deal of curiosity - as demonstrated, for example, by his basic training as an aircraft electrician, a pilot's license and training as a Montessori teacher.
As a manager, he has led both small teams and teams of up to 100 employees. His leadership approach is situational: transformational, servant leadership, collaborative, empathetic and appreciative. In exceptional cases, he can take corrective action: assertive, decisive, pragmatic and solution-oriented.
His experience enables him to introduce the benefits of start-up culture to medium-sized companies and corporations. With his background as an international keynote speaker and university lecturer, he enthuses, motivates and inspires teams and provides practical impetus. Thanks to his in-depth technical and methodological expertise and his passion for technology, software and product development, business model development, agility and target management systems, he meets experts at eye level and is able to overcome resistance - also as a coach. He sees his work as a holistic and systemic task. He takes on tasks independently and is self-motivated. At the same time, he can delegate.
