More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an internationally experienced expert for complex IT projects. In particular, he knows how to plan and implement IT transformations in an integrated manner. This ranges from setting up and optimizing IT infrastructures (data centers) to OT integrations (data from machines) and the analysis of big data - including with artificial intelligence. The expert is usually mandated as CIO, CTO or CDO - also for global, temporary assignments.
In his most recent assignment, the IT expert introduced new ERP and CRM systems as interim project manager for a market leader in the field of renewable energies and renewable fuels in 2023. He also developed a central data collection and planning system for EU-wide decentralized, preventive maintenance and decentralized fuel supply as well as a system for optimized site definition. As IT infrastructure manager and data analyst at a pharmaceutical company, he played a key role in setting up a highly secure data collection and data analysis architecture. As interim CIO, he managed the restructuring of the IT infrastructure for a food producer and the development of an OT integration of weighing systems in the European production facilities and animal separation plants in South America as well as the cold chain and transport logistics for premium meat from Far East Asia and South America.

The interim manager has been a freelance interim manager and IT consultant since 2001. His clients benefit from his extensive international experience from more than 150 mandates and consulting assignments all over the world - from corporations and SMEs to start-ups and Formula 1 - as well as from his corporate experience as an IT board member and CIO in companies such as STS Spectrum Text- und Datensystem (later Memorex AG), Heyde AG and RZ Zimmermann.

The interim manager lives in Germany, but has worked and continues to work regularly in Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America. His family is also international: his German wife worked as a C-level manager in China for 16 years and in Singapore for five years. His children have godparents from Chile and Great Britain. These backgrounds result in his high level of intercultural competence, which he uses successfully for his clients time and again.
