In his most recent mandates, he was responsible for merging the global development activities for renewable energies as interim global CTO for a leading global energy company. As interim CEO in another mandate, he enabled a manufacturer of industrial equipment to expand its market position - with significant increases in sales and earnings. As interim CEO of a medium-sized, globally active mechanical engineering group, he was also responsible for the successful post-merger integration and prevented imminent insolvency. As interim CEO and global COO, he also led a Swiss group for manufacturing solutions in the aerospace, automotive, energy, tooling and other high-tech industries back to profitability.
Mastering challenges together and unlocking potential for success
Before becoming self-employed, the interim manager worked in various C-level and management roles, including for Mitsubishi Electric (including several years as an expat in Japan), Rockwell International, Schneider Electric and Mettler Toledo, most recently as Global Group CEO of Wessel-Werke Holding with overall responsibility for all sales and production sites in Germany, Eastern Europe, China, Hong Kong and the USA. His international orientation is also demonstrated by his memberships of the International Economic Senate Berlin (Senator) and the World Economic Council (UN advisor).
With more than 20 years of experience in the strategic and operational management of medium-sized companies, he is a crisis-tested managing director with excellent operational skills in sales, development, production and organization.
