The interim manager is a nationally and internationally successful CEO, CRO, COO and CTO - just as he is a sought-after specialist for sustainable productivity increases, restructuring and integration. Innovative value transformations of companies or business models to increase profitability and secure the future are another focus of his work. As a successful interim manager and consultant, he is primarily tasked with improving the competitiveness and profitability of companies.

In his most recent mandates, he was responsible for merging the global development activities for renewable energies as interim global CTO for a leading global energy company. As interim CEO in another mandate, he enabled a manufacturer of industrial equipment to expand its market position - with significant increases in sales and earnings. As interim CEO of a medium-sized, globally active mechanical engineering group, he was also responsible for the successful post-merger integration and prevented imminent insolvency. As interim CEO and global COO, he also led a Swiss group for manufacturing solutions in the aerospace, automotive, energy, tooling and other high-tech industries back to profitability.

Mastering challenges together and unlocking potential for success

Before becoming self-employed, the interim manager worked in various C-level and management roles, including for Mitsubishi Electric (including several years as an expat in Japan), Rockwell International, Schneider Electric and Mettler Toledo, most recently as Global Group CEO of Wessel-Werke Holding with overall responsibility for all sales and production sites in Germany, Eastern Europe, China, Hong Kong and the USA. His international orientation is also demonstrated by his memberships of the International Economic Senate Berlin (Senator) and the World Economic Council (UN advisor).

With more than 20 years of experience in the strategic and operational management of medium-sized companies, he is a crisis-tested managing director with excellent operational skills in sales, development, production and organization. His projects are characterized by his excellent and sustainable leadership, integration and organizational skills. His clients rely on his strategic and operational expertise. They also benefit from his experience from cross-border projects with different cultures.

The interim manager achieves the agreed objectives thanks to his solution-oriented strategic and analytical skills as well as the necessary assertiveness and negotiating skills. In critical and complex change projects, he maintains an overview and conveys confidence. In addition to team spirit, he relies on his pronounced hands-on mentality and goal-oriented communication at all hierarchical levels. Through clear stakeholder management, he is able to manage the various interest groups and lead projects to success.

As a graduate engineer and business economist, he has extensive knowledge in the application of lean management, operational excellence, systemic engineering and management. His current topics are meaningful digital transformations and the implementation of resilience and ambidexterity in companies to increase their competitiveness.
