More about the interim manager

The interim manager is an entrepreneurial personality with many years of C-level experience. His focus is on the restructuring of low-profit companies (also in crisis situations), realignment and business segment development. As the responsible manager for transactions in a DAX company and as an entrepreneur, he also gained particularly valuable experience in the areas of mergers & acquisitions and post-merger integration.

The interim manager has the expertise to design and implement changes quickly and consistently. He has successfully supported more than 25 transitions -, predominantly in manufacturing companies from the automotive industry to the production of healthcare equipment. So far, he has always managed to achieve the expected results. One of his success factors is that he takes everyone involved on the transition journey: shareholders, management and customers.

He gained his first professional experience in the petrochemical industry. In his line function, he played a key role in the integration of larger units. He expanded this knowledge in other positions - for example, when he integrated strong medium-sized companies into a group. At an American company, he later managed the missed integration of acquired companies with different cultural values and repositioned the acquisitions on the market. As an interim manager (since 2005), he managed the transition of a bioplastics company from a developing to a producing company. Here, he was able to increase the owner's turnover by 500 percent and consolidate the company's perception on the market as a market leader.

The interim manager's way of working is described as very "hands-on" and his solutions lead to quick results.
