More about the interim manager

The interim manager is an industry-experienced C-level executive with a strong background as an internationally active top management consultant. He supports industrial companies and large SMEs, particularly in key issues relating to transformation and growth. His main areas of expertise include consulting and interim mandates in the fields of strategy, M&A, restructuring, cost reduction, marketing and sales. From his consulting work, he also has excellent skills as a project manager, including in the development and management of (large) project management offices (PMO).

In his most recent mandates, for example, the interim manager led a cost reduction project for an international market leader in the glass industry for the company's 16 largest production plants in Europe, identifying a savings volume in the high single-digit million range. In another mandate, he identified new market potential in EMEA for a DAX company with a cumulative sales expectation of around 150 million euros in five years.

Internationally experienced, characterized by industry and consulting

Since 2017, the expert has been working as an independent management consultant and interim manager throughout Europe and is based in Brussels. Prior to that, he was an executive in industry and top management consulting, including as Group Vice President Strategy and M&A for the Belgian Aliaxis Group and as Group Senior Vice President Strategy and M&A for the Belgian Solvay Group. He held various management positions at BASF for ten years, most recently as Head of Strategy and M&A for the EMEA region.

The interim manager is an entrepreneurial leader with strong soft skills. Clients and teams confirm that he is a good team player and team leader - as well as a manager who coaches and develops teams and personalities in the long term. Living in Brussels and working abroad in Poland, Hong Kong, Shanghai, the USA, Canada and the UK (studies) underline the international and intercultural competence of the interim manager and predestine him for global assignments.
