More about the interim manager

The interim manager has been working independently as a temporary manager since mid-2018 and offers his services as a management consultant. His focus is on transaction consulting: from the beginning to post-merger integration. His day-to-day business also includes restructurings such as carve-outs and the associated change management. His most recent mandates have come from the metal processing industry (intralogistics and material flow planning), fruit and vegetable wholesale and a specialist manufacturer of industrial seals.

The interim manager is an experienced manager with more than 25 years of international professional experience. Due to his work in very different industries and professional fields, versatility is one of his strengths.

He has particular industry experience from 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry. At ratiopharm, the qualified architect rose through the ranks from project manager for construction projects to head of the project management office and head of the integration office following the takeover of ratiopharm by Teva Pharmaceuticals. At STADA Arzneimittel AG, he held positions including Director of Portfolio Management and, until his departure, Vice President Business Development. In this position, he led the global departments of Corporate Development/M&A, Patents and Risk and Portfolio Management.

In his work, as an independent personality of integrity, he takes the approach of evaluating each company and each assignment individually in order to find and implement a holistic, customer-specific solution. He feels most at home with very complex issues that lead to practicable, profitable solutions for the customer thanks to his extensive international expertise. Solutions, incidentally, that the company can continue to implement independently after his work is done.
