The interim manager is an internationally experienced controlling expert. He is also well versed in ensuring the success of post-merger integrations and M&A projects on the financial side and in setting up an efficient financial organization in start-ups. The interim manager has lived and worked in Switzerland for more than 20 years. As a native US-American and with a background of numerous projects in North America, Europe and the EMEA region, he is predestined for projects in the Anglo-American language and economic area. The interim manager aims for assignments with a duration of between three and twelve months - preferably as an international assignment.

In his most recent assignment (2022/2023), as controller for the EMEA region at an international air freight company, the interim manager made a significant contribution to bringing the company out of a serious crisis and bringing about a turnaround. in 2021, he successfully supported a US technology group in driving global growth with the establishment of two companies in Switzerland. Prior to this, he worked as an interim manager at a Swiss pharmaceutical company, where he was tasked with introducing a new ERP system and realigning controlling.

Controlling and financial expertise paired with internationality and intercultural experience

Before becoming self-employed (since 2019), the interim manager was most recently Finance Director at an international Swiss hearing aid manufacturer, where he was responsible for controlling more than 30 subsidiaries in the USA, EMEA and APAC. Prior to that, he was Director Finance and Administration for the CEE region at the Zug site. His greatest successes include the successful scaling of a greenfield start-up for IT services for debis IT-Services in the USA - with sales growth from zero to more than 20 million US dollars within three years.

In addition to his controlling skills and financial expertise, the interim manager impresses teams and clients with his strong soft skills. With empathy and an American can-do attitude, he leads teams at eye level, coaches managers and finds and promotes talent. Thanks to his strong intercultural skills, he brings international teams together and encourages motivation to find the best solution to the challenges they face together.

The father of two, who is married to a Swiss woman, has lived in Switzerland - in the Zug region - for more than 20 years. He has Swiss and US citizenship.
