More about the interim manager
The interim manager's services are aimed at companies that want to make their HR department and all employees fit for tomorrow. He ensures that HR can fulfil three of its most important roles in the future:
- As a transformer of the workforce, because digitalization and AI are driving the development of new customer needs and business models.
- As an innovator of employer attractiveness, because upcoming generations are fundamentally changing the image and meaning of work.
- As a driver of corporate strategy, because demographic and technological developments are making HR a strong strategic factor.
In his current project, he is advising a well-known German family business on the introduction of a new HR target operating model and Oracle system software. He has also already introduced Workday and other systems.
Prior to this, the interim manager restructured the HR function at a hidden champion for high-tech applications in the metal sector. The result was a 40 percent reduction in the admin area and the successful development of strategic competencies. For a US automotive supplier, he carried out the HR due diligence for the acquisition of a company with three locations in Germany. In another mandate, a battery manufacturer commissioned him to select and implement a provider as part of the creation of a job system with corresponding salary bands.
In his project work, the interim manager focuses not only on the HR area itself, but also on the transformation of the entire workforce. What skills are needed for new business models, for example? His concept for the integration of scenario-based HR planning into a company's strategy process is considered a milestone for its competitiveness and the future employability of its employees.
The interim manager brings a sound finance and sales background as well as 20 years of HR experience from management positions in medium-sized family businesses and listed companies to his work. He has also worked for several years in Asia, the USA and Europe. From these activities, the interim manager has above-average intercultural expertise, which he successfully brings to his mandates time and again.
The interim manager is a cheerful Rhineland native, born in 1965, married, has three children and lives in Mainz. He is a partner in a management and HR consultancy. He also headed a specialist group in the German Association of HR Managers for eight years and co-founded a voluntary initiative on AI applications in the HR sector.
