More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in the strategic and operational development and expansion of international supply chains in the food and consumer goods industry (B2B/B2C). He has excellent expertise in sales and operations planning (S&OP) and in the design of end-to-end supply chain processes. In addition, his clients benefit from his extensive experience in the global Nestlé Group and his many years of working abroad in Australia, France, South Africa and Switzerland.
The expert is available for management tasks in international supply chain management and as an interim COO in the food and FMCG industries. He is also happy to manage challenging SCM projects - including abroad.
In his most recent assignment, the interim manager realigned the supply chain processes at an FMCG company in the cleaning products and personal care sector from July 2023 to June 2024. Among other things, he optimized sales and operations planning. This also included a major digitalization project with the introduction of SAP Integrated Business Planning for Supply Chain (SAP IBP). Prior to that, as interim COO, the graduate engineer in production technology played a key role in scaling the production and supply chains of a French start-up for meat substitute products, thereby creating the conditions for international growth.
Internationally experienced manager from the Nestlé Group
Before becoming self-employed (since 2022), the interim manager held various roles in the international management of the Nestlé Group for more than 20 years. Most recently, he was Head of Operations EMENA for the Nestlé Professional segment (B2B/Foodservice) at the company's headquarters in Vevey (Switzerland). Prior to that, he was Operations Planning Director at the Nestlé pet food company Purina in Lausanne.
The expert gained his far above-average international experience primarily during assignments abroad for the Group: including five years as Supply Chain Director in South Africa (Johannesburg) and as Process Manager in Australia (Sydney, two and a half years).
From his assignments abroad and his international work for the Group, the interim manager is adept at dealing with complex matrix organizations and has great intercultural skills. He is also ideally placed to lead multinational teams and operates confidently in a wide variety of business cultures and at every level from the work floor to top management. His multilingualism is very helpful here: the expert speaks fluent German, English and French.
