More about the interim manager

The interim manager is a senior executive with a wealth of experience in performance optimization. As a former managing director of medium-sized companies in the mechanical and apparatus engineering sector, he is well versed in managing challenges such as restructuring and turnarounds in crisis situations. As an engineer with a doctorate and operations expert, he is ideally suited to optimizing operational performance in all areas of the value chain and thus improving company performance.

The senior expert seeks mandates as CEO, CTO, CRO or project manager for performance optimization. He also takes on consulting projects, for example when setting up (subsidiary) companies or optimizing make-or-buy strategies.

The expert offers his clients extensive industry experience in mechanical and apparatus engineering, particularly in the field of catering and commercial kitchen appliances and systems. In his most recent mandate, for example, he succeeded in significantly increasing efficiency and thus reducing costs by 30 percent within a few months. Prior to this, as CEO and CRO, he repeatedly designed and consistently implemented restructuring concepts for companies in the apparatus engineering sector.

Combination of commercial skills and technical expertise

Before becoming self-employed (since 2024), the interim manager was most recently the CEO of a medium-sized public limited company (35 million euros turnover, 300 employees). Other milestones in his career include the role of sole managing director at an international manufacturer of professional combi steamers (€27 million turnover, 140 employees) and the role of sole managing director at an international company for bakery machines (€55 million turnover, 230 employees).

In all roles, the interim manager achieved above-average results. Whether in a crisis situation, innovation or process optimization: with the special combination of strong commercial skills and technical expertise, he has repeatedly succeeded in optimizing production, stabilizing supply chains and making value creation processes sustainably efficient.

His strong communication skills and engaging leadership style play a key role in successfully overcoming difficult challenges such as reconciliation of interests or social plan negotiations.
