More about the interim manager
The interim manager has a degree in business administration and takes on complex projects and, for example, the tasks of sales executives. He is experienced in post-merger integration and has a high affinity for IT.
The interim manager became self-employed in 2015 as a management consultant and temporary manager. Since then, he has taken on several mandates in the financial services and manufacturing sectors. In doing so, he has successfully driven sales results (in direct sales and cooperations) and digitalization topics.
The interim manager is at his best when things get difficult, when there are numerous hurdles to overcome and when many people need to work together towards a common goal. He is extremely structured and acts calmly and prudently even when things get hectic. With his generalist know-how, he quickly familiarizes himself with the situation and can put himself in the shoes of the individual specialist areas. He is convinced that the success of a task or project is only sustainable if the knowledge is heard and integrated from the top of the company to the specialists in the respective departments.
After training as a banker, he first studied economics and then obtained a Master of Advanced Management at the Management Zentrum St. Gallen. The interim manager was employed by two large building societies, where he acquired generalist expertise and held management positions for more than two decades. His areas of responsibility covered almost all areas of the company, from IT as a programmer to the management of investment controlling. However, his focus was on sales and marketing. He also frequently took on the management of complex projects. Before setting up his own business, the interim manager was most recently responsible as Head of Sales and directly and indirectly managed around 150 employees.
