The interim manager is an expert in sales and marketing in the food industry. His focus is on the optimization of B2B sales structures. In particular, he knows how to effectively link sales and marketing. His experience in management, which he was recently able to build on during his temporary position as General Manager of a German supplier to the meat processing industry, also contributes to this.

In one of his most recent projects, the interim manager restructured the sales and customer service of the aforementioned supplier in 2022. The company had recently been taken over by a large European manufacturer of spices and flavorings for the food industry and crafts and integrated into the group. One of the interim manager's main tasks as General Manager was to close a site and realign the company's entire process organization.

Before becoming self-employed (since 2023), the interim manager was Managing Director of a food company with group affiliation, Head of Marketing and Sales at a B2B supplier in the food sector as well as Division Manager Food Services and Board Member for nine countries at an internationally operating Swiss food company. Prior to this, the graduate engineer in food technology had already acquired extensive industry knowledge in positions at brand companies and suppliers - particularly in the B2B business with ingredients and flavors for meat processing.

Extensive experience in the strategic realignment of sales and marketing

His many years in sales at various levels gave him deep insights into the processes, structure, working methods and interaction of sales and marketing. In his management functions, he used this experience to optimize structures, strategically realign market development and business development in his areas of responsibility. His main focus here was on B2B business in particular, but also B2C business - as well as food service in the DACH region and in Eastern and Western Europe.

His clients not only benefit from this particularly deep industry knowledge in the area of sales and marketing. From his career, the interim manager also brings extensive experience in restructuring and site closures, personnel development, the evaluation and introduction of CRM systems, the development of target-oriented sales remuneration models and the integration of acquisitions.

As a graduate engineer, he is familiar with communicating with employees at all levels - whether commercial, salaried or managerial. The interim manager attaches great importance to teamwork and involving the teams involved in his projects.
