More about the interim manager
The interim manager specializes in changes in aftermarket sales with distinct interfaces to aftersales, product management, marketing, procurement and logistics for technical products in the manufacturing industry, always in international B2B. He develops promising strategies for market entry, growth and product development and also implements these initiatives operationally. He is also very experienced in developing existing customers and successfully addressing new target groups.
In one of his most recent mandates, the interim manager successfully set up a completely new automotive aftermarket sales organization for EMEA for a Japanese group and concluded several tool usage agreements with OEMs. Prior to this, he optimized the sales and internal procurement processes between Asia, Europe and the USA, standardized them globally and developed additional sales channels for exhaust gas turbochargers in an international mandate. Together with a global project team, he managed the selection, procurement and go-live of a global product information management system (PIM). In another mandate, he built up a new business area in the field of hydrogen/fuel cells for an automotive company, making a significant contribution to the transformation of this client.
Since 2016, the interim manager's clients have benefited from the expertise and network that he has built up and deepened over more than two decades as an internationally active manager in corporations and SMEs. He spent a good half of this time living and working in Asia, including as a marketing manager in Hong Kong (China) and as a managing director in Manila (Philippines) and Jakarta (Indonesia).
During this time, the interim manager acquired above-average intercultural skills. With this experience and his multilingualism (English, French), he acts and motivates confidently at all levels: from top management to the store floor.
The interim manager attaches great importance to ensuring that his mandates have an impact beyond the duration of the assignment. To ensure this, he consults intensively with clients and stakeholders on the objectives of the projects and defines them like a North Star. In the mandate, he continuously aligns the measures with this North Star. His business partners particularly appreciate the strong anchoring of far-reaching changes, which leads to sustainable success with a positive contribution to results.
Based on his experience, the interim manager has great communication skills and intercultural empathy. This enables him to turn managers and staff into change agents. Teams and clients rate his high level of commitment, balance and ability to compromise very positively.
The businessman thinks from a market perspective and generally focuses on results-oriented business development for the client.
