More about the interim manager

After completing his two degree courses, the interim manager started out as an assistant to the head of materials management at a large medium-sized company. He then built up the spare parts purchasing department at a large, international commercial vehicle manufacturer.

He then became the main department manager for production planning and control, scheduling, warehousing and internal transportation at a well-known automotive supplier. As the company was already a restructuring case, he learned there how a restructuring can be successfully implemented.

He then moved to the IT sector, where he was responsible for the development and introduction of various software modules for a highly integrated ERP system in medium-sized companies.

He then moved to the consulting division of PWC as a manager. There he had the opportunity to do an internship of several months at Kawasaki in Japan. After returning from Japan, he became an interim manager for the first time: as site manager at a medium-sized plant engineering company.

He then successfully helped to build up the consulting division as a senior manager at Schwäbische Treuhand, now Ernst & Young. During his ten years with the company, the interim manager specialized in the restructuring and reorganization of small to large medium-sized companies. He led several teams there. He not only drew up restructuring concepts, due diligence and expert opinions for shareholders and banks, he also successfully implemented them.

In 2003, the interim manager set up his own business. To date, the interim manager has restructured and internationalized numerous medium-sized companies (approx. 30 companies). In these projects, he has always closely involved managers and employees in his work. These also included very difficult and complex restructuring cases.

He helped to set up several plants and sales offices in Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia). The interim manager has an entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership and decision-making skills, is team-oriented, open, flexible, communicative and has extensive international business experience.
