More about the interim manager
As an expert in process optimization with a focus on improving business results, the interim manager works to empower leaders and teams to co-create business change and take ownership of business goals. His 35 years of experience in LEAN/KVP and project management in change contexts such as the realization of post-merger integration, the development of cross-border shared services and the implementation of outsourcing and off-shoring solutions help him to achieve this.
His core competence in reducing costs and working capital includes supply chain performance (O2C/Q2C, P2P, S&OP) as well as the performance of supporting functions (finance and HR processes). His projects are often in international and multicultural contexts - in Western and Eastern Europe as well as in connection with Asia and Africa. The interim manager works in German, English and French.
In the first 25 years of his career, he gained management experience in Western and Eastern Europe as a finance, IT and organizational manager at leading American companies in the manufacturing and maintenance industry (Otis Elevator, Carrier Refrigeration). For example, he integrated acquired companies administratively (Finance HR), implemented modern and powerful ERP landscapes (Infor, SAP) internationally and effectively introduced United Technologies' results-oriented CIP "ACE".
In the transformation initiatives, he experienced how important people are for the success of projects. That is why he trained as a systemic coach ten years ago and has been working as a freelance project manager, consultant and coach across EMEA ever since.
The interim manager places great importance on leading his assignments to sustainable results. In his opinion, it is crucial to involve people and teams in identifying and designing the solution and to support them in mastering the performance levers. People and organizations can often do more and better than they initially imagine. It is therefore important to promote leadership and ownership at all levels in order to strengthen business results and job satisfaction.
