The interim manager holds a degree in business administration, is a chartered surveyor and a Certified International Wealth Manager. He takes on complex restructurings with a focus on the real estate sector, commercial support for corporate insolvencies and transformation projects in credit management. He is also a lecturer in real estate asset management and an author of specialist books on real estate investment banking.

After completing his business studies at the University of Passau, the interim manager entered the real estate sector in 1993 at TLG in Berlin. in 1997, he moved to Union Investment Real Estate GmbH in Hamburg, where he was responsible for the asset and portfolio management of the international real estate portfolio for almost ten years and managed the local branches and third-party managers. In 2004, the interim manager played a leading role in the conception and launch of the UniImmo Global fund, which invests worldwide.

After twelve years as an employee, the interim manager founded a consulting company for real estate investors and family offices in 2005. In this context, he successfully handled various real estate transactions and advisory mandates. in 2010, he was entrusted with the credit and workout management of the international real estate portfolio as well as loan sale transactions by WestLB's settlement bank.

In the interim manager's opinion, the success of projects and transactions depends to a large extent on whether the project management succeeds in building trust and motivation within the team and among the project participants. He therefore considers clear communication, constructive feedback on work results and reliability in the implementation of agreed objectives to be indispensable characteristics of a successful project manager.
