The interim manager has been taking on freelance mandates as an interim purchasing manager as well as team leader and specialist positions in purchasing and materials management since 2010. His main areas of expertise include the development and implementation of sourcing strategies, the introduction of new projects and products as well as supplier development and evaluation in accordance with IATF. Value analysis and purchasing controlling are further topics of his activities. Another focus is the restructuring and/or realignment of purchasing departments and work processes. The interim manager has special experience in sourcing on the Asian purchasing market (many years of experience in purchasing in China).

The manager started his professional career as a procurement specialist and over the course of 25 years has held positions ranging from project buyer and strategic buyer to head of purchasing. He has worked in the metal processing, mechanical engineering, automotive, vehicle construction and medical technology sectors. Since 2010, he has provided significant support in purchasing projects as an interim manager for Grammer Amberg, Goldhofer Ostfildern, Stromer Switzerland, Pfisterer Switzerland, VEM Dresden, DGH Heidenau, Technolas and Zarges, among others.

As a manager, he is characterized by a special closeness to the people in the project. He feels and works like the employees in the project. He is approachable at all times and is committed to the interests of the project and those involved. In operational work, he does not limit himself to delegating, but is able to lend a hand himself. In this way, he takes those involved along with him and creates a motivating working atmosphere.
