More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in corporate mobility. He optimizes costs and processes for business travel and vehicle fleets. His clients benefit from his experience from more than 130 procurement and consulting projects in medium-sized companies and corporations (DAX companies) with procurement volumes of 100 million euros and more p.a. Whether in interim mandates or as a consultant: the expert ensures greater efficiency at lower costs, especially in complex, international structures. As a rule, he is commissioned by companies with a business travel or vehicle fleet volume of around five million euros or more per year.
In one of his most recent projects, the interim manager consolidated business travel management across several countries for a global mechanical engineering group. By standardizing supplier contracts and regulations, he made a significant contribution to reducing costs in indirect purchasing. At another company, he optimized fleet management for a fleet of 120 vehicles by changing the leasing provider, among other things. With a modernized car policy, he reduced costs and increased employee satisfaction at the same time. Following a carve-out, he created a new global travel policy for around 10,000 employees and managed the tender for standardized billing solutions for around 30 countries, which ultimately reduced business travel costs by 20 percent.

The interim manager offers his clients a broad portfolio of expertise in almost all areas of corporate mobility procurement. Before becoming a self-employed interim manager and consultant (since 2014), the interim manager was an executive: at Lufthansa he built up global mobility management, at the international travel service provider Amadeus Global Distribution Systems and as Head of Operations at Lufthansa CityCenter he laid the foundation for his in-depth knowledge of the industry - and for the network that he is happy to put at the service of his clients when sourcing new suppliers.
