More about the interim manager

The interim manager is an expert in the optimization and potential orientation of sales processes in mechanical engineering and related areas - from SMEs to corporations. The mechanical engineering graduate with a Master's degree has repeatedly and successfully significantly increased incoming orders and margins, especially in difficult market environments and economically difficult times.

In his most recent projects, for example, he was able to stabilize a technological market leader for large machine tools through strategic realignment in sales and product management as well as the introduction of a professional PMO (Project Management Office) after the company had lost almost its entire market in the wake of the energy transition. In another project, he introduced a potential-oriented sales management system for a mechanical engineering company, which became a key component of the growth strategy.

Special market knowledge in mechanical engineering

Before becoming self-employed (since 2023), the interim manager was Managing Director Sales and Technology at a technological market leader for large machine tools for more than five years. Before that, he worked for ten years in a managerial role at leading mechanical engineering companies. From this time, he has special market knowledge in the construction of machine tools, special machines, packaging machines, compressors and (compressors and vacuum technology) as well as in mechanical production and related services (aftersales).

The interim manager is well versed in international cooperation. He has successfully negotiated and cooperated with customers, partners and suppliers all over the world, especially in Asia (China, India, Taiwan, South Korea), America (USA, Mexico, Canada) and Europe (as a whole).

His management style is situational with a lot of emotional intelligence. Thanks to his certification as a business trainer, he is also very good at developing and facilitating workshops and motivating managers and teams.
