More about the interim manager
For more than 20 years, the interim manager has been successfully advising companies in an international environment as a project manager (PMP) and transformation manager on improving operational excellence, remaining competitive and reshaping the future. Her areas of expertise include process consulting, particularly in the areas of order-to-cash and purchase-to-pay. During her many years as an SAP consultant and her mandates, she has developed a rich toolbox of methods with which she flexibly adapts to the goals and ideas of her clients.
The interim manager has excellent knowledge of setting up and managing program and project management offices. Expertise and practical experience in lean management, change management and business development, including design thinking, round off her profile.
The interim manager is very familiar with all stages of integration and efficiency improvement programs. This applies, for example, to:
- Selecting and prioritizing the right projects in terms of investment decisions and operational success
- Standardized or customized project launches (agile, Waterfall or hybrid)
- Operative and strategic resource planning
- Sustainable review and assurance of the expected benefits
She ensures the success of the business case by constantly analyzing the defined key performance indicators such as quality, benefits, effort, costs and time - and taking appropriate corrective measures. Her extensive experience in the areas of digitalization and business transformation, business analytics and process optimization forms the basis of her working methods. The interim manager also acts as a coach and sparring partner for her clients.
After training as a hotel manager and holding several positions in renowned hotel companies, the interim manager completed a degree in business administration (VWA). Her career in IT then began in classic SAP consulting and project management with a focus on finance, controlling and project systems. Her clients came from various industries such as manufacturing, automotive, transport and logistics as well as retail.
Because of her broad business spectrum and her methodological expertise in setting up and managing projects, she was entrusted with setting up the project management office for a large interdisciplinary transformation program at an international IT service provider. Since then, she has dedicated herself to the topic of operational excellence and the development of the necessary control mechanisms.
For the interim manager, the focus is on solution and customer orientation as well as agility. For her, this means taking the perspective of both the client and the potential end customer. From this dual perspective, she develops sustainable solutions in an iterative approach together with project teams and clients. Thanks to her international experience, she is used to working in global and virtual team structures. She has the ability to lead project teams efficiently, inspire them and involve all stakeholders, even under these conditions.
