More about the interim manager

The interim manager focuses on the optimization of production processes. For example, he is mandated to relocate plants, optimize production lines and improve product and process quality. He eliminates production bottlenecks, introduces effective production controlling and optimizes overall equipment effectiveness (OEE and OEE). His spectrum also includes the optimization of supply chains and supplier management.

The interim manager is passionate about supporting companies on their journey to becoming "lean" organizations. With his experience, based on his training at Toyota Engineering Corporation in Japan, and his ideas, he is able to get deadlocked processes back on track and anchor "lean" in the minds of employees. His services also include the implementation of lean tools, the introduction and improvement of lean processes as well as lean training and coaching.

The interim manager has more than 30 years of experience in mechanical and plant engineering: from project engineer in an engineering office to managing director of a company with more than 750 employees to self-employed interim manager. He has been using this expertise as an external interim and project manager since 2011.

In the area of project management, the interim manager focuses on improving project management processes. He develops PM manuals with his clients, coaches project staff and optimizes project organizations. As a troubleshooter, he works in operational project management with guaranteed improvements in project runtimes and costs.

True to the motto "Nothing good happens unless you do it", the interim manager works in a decidedly hands-on and goal-oriented manner. He is a strong, committed and loyal personality who approaches projects and mandates with very high standards of performance and quality.
