More about the interim manager
The interim manager has been an independent consultant, coach and IT project manager since 2012. He specializes in the management of complex IT projects. He has repeatedly successfully completed projects that had stalled or even almost failed under other management. Thanks to his communication skills and training as a business coach, he is also very good at successfully moderating different interests among stakeholders and in teams.
In the recent past, he has impressed his clients as a multi-project manager for the establishment of an e-commerce joint venture, as an IT transformation manager for the international carve-out of an online broker and as a program manager for the transformation of IT operations in an international e-commerce company.
In addition to his many years of management responsibility in line and projects, the interim manager has practical experience in operational optimization, migration and outsourcing of heterogeneous system landscapes (host, SAP, web, cloud, NoCode) as well as in banking and regulatory issues.
In addition to certifications as a classic Project Management Professional (PMP/PMI) and agile Scrum Master, the interim manager has training as a business coach. It goes without saying that he is very familiar with standards such as PMI, CMMI, ITIL and DevOps.
About his career: The interim manager studied computer science in Hildesheim and management sciences in Manchester. He then worked as a consultant for system management and e-business for five years before moving to comdirect bank AG in 2000. Here he helped shape growth, internationalization and process optimization in management positions. Since 2010, the interim manager has been successfully active with a focus on transformation and IT change.
One of the interim manager's particular strengths is that his work has a lasting effect on companies. This is because, thanks to their training and experience, interim managers are particularly good at setting up teams systematically and focusing on the essentials (big picture). They not only lead these teams to their goal on time and on budget, but also have the skills in their mandates to keep the teams successful in the long term.
As a North German, the interim manager communicates directly, brings things to the table and is only satisfied when everything has been clarified.
