The Interim Manager is an experienced HR Executive for the management of international HR organizations in the manufacturing industry. In addition to bridging vacancies, he also takes on the management of challenging restructuring and transformation projects. He is equally at home in complex matrix organizations as he is in (owner-managed) SMEs. His industry focus is on automotive suppliers and information technology. The interim manager also offers a further focus: he has made a name for himself as a provider of guerrilla recruiting workshops using design thinking methods.

In his most recent project, the interim manager led the HR organization of a leading international Canadian Tier 1 automotive supplier. As an authorized signatory and member of the global HR team, he was responsible for the HR management of seven locations in Europe and Asia (Japan and China) with more than 900 employees. In just under three years, the interim manager led various projects. These included, for example, the integration of the HR organization of an acquired, owner-managed German industrial company into the European matrix organization of the Canadian client. He also managed the HR due diligence for a complex carve-out and M&A transactions.

Before this mandate (which led to a temporary permanent position), the interim manager had been a successful freelance consultant and business coach for a good eight years. In more than 50 assignments at well-known companies, he was able to make a significant contribution to opening up new target groups for the client's recruiting with design thinking workshops for guerrilla recruiting and at the same time strengthen employer branding and employee retention.

Authentic and hands-on HR executive with extensive international experience

Before becoming a freelance consultant and interim manager, the HR executive held international management roles in HR at automotive suppliers and IT companies for many years. Most recently, he was an authorized signatory and Vice President HR Europe at a Swedish global market leader for automotive safety systems with 34 locations in 15 countries and a turnover of more than two billion euros in Europe.
