More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an internationally experienced expert in human resources and legal affairs. As a former board member for HR, legal and compliance as well as a lawyer licensed in Germany and the USA, she has the best qualifications for change and transformation projects. This ranges from the development of HR or legal departments in international corporations and SMEs to the restructuring of complex organizations and comprehensive programs to change corporate cultures. She is also a sought-after sparring partner and coach for top executives.
As the former Head of HR & Legal Affairs Officer at the global Esprit Group for many years, she is very familiar with the fashion industry. She has also repeatedly set up, modernized and managed global HR or legal and compliance departments very successfully for companies in the FMCG, consumer goods and chemicals sectors. Her work has also focused on numerous business transformation and change management projects at an international level. For example, she has managed market entries in Greece, Croatia, Italy, the UK, Dubai and the USA. She has also accompanied the withdrawal from markets in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore and Malaysia. In many of these countries, she has also developed and implemented programs to change the corporate or work culture.
Thanks to her extensive experience with brand manufacturers in the fashion and FMCG industries, the interim manager knows how to break down brand strategies and positioning to the workforce. Above all, she knows how to create a positive, empowering, committed, customer- and performance-oriented employee culture that motivates employees, attracts talent and inspires customers in equal measure.
The interim manager also has strong intercultural skills from her work, which she acquired during many long professional stays abroad in the USA and Asia (China, Hong Kong). She is very familiar with culturally divergent management styles and is prepared to travel or go abroad on a temporary basis for assignments. However, this is not a must: she is also happy to take on mandates to set up or expand HR and legal in smaller SMEs.
The interim manager studied law at the University of Münster and holds a doctorate, as well as a Master of Law from Penn State Dickinson Law. She is a licensed member of both the German and New York State Bars and a CLCI-certified coach. She has been officially recognized as "Top 100 General Counsel" several times by Legal500 and was a long-standing member of the executive committee of the BUJ (Bundes-Unternehmensjuristen-Verband) during her time as General Counsel.
The interim manager has the seniority and personality to move confidently at all hierarchical levels. She communicates in a transparent and goal-oriented manner. This enables her to quickly and successfully build trusting and cooperative relationships with clients, form excellent teams and motivate staff to achieve common goals. She works strategically as well as hands-on and pragmatically. Her management style is engaging, solution- and team-oriented, always with a positive attitude to the challenge.
