He is mandated in particular by private equity investment companies, family offices and strategy consultancies as a managing director, board member and advisory board member to lead medium-sized and group-affiliated industrial companies out of crisis situations.
Since 2008, the business administration graduate and certified reorganization and restructuring manager has successfully led various companies, production plants and business units through comprehensive change processes. His international industry focus is on the automotive, foundry, metal and plastics processing as well as mechanical and plant engineering industries.
Sustainable product and customer development instead of pure cost reduction
The interim manager does not increase sales and returns through cost reduction alone. Instead, he focuses on sustainable, comprehensive product and customer development strategies. He uses a wide range of skills to achieve this. He is well-versed in the operational management and strategic development of all relevant business areas, from product development, marketing and sales to logistics, production, distribution and service. This also includes digitalization projects, such as the introduction or optimization of ERP systems.
In addition, the business graduate is highly experienced in management systems, accounting and financial planning in accordance with HGB, IFRS, US GAAP and Swiss GAAP FER. His close international collaboration with auditing firms and consultancies such as KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, MC Kinsey and AT Kearney means he is also very familiar with the requirements of controlling, reporting and risk management.
In numerous assignments abroad, he has built up an international network
His clients also benefit from the large international network that the manager has acquired and deepened in numerous assignments abroad. As an executive, he was based in Italy and Spain; he also worked for Group companies in France, Brazil, the Czech Republic, Romania and Lithuania. After several years of interim assignments in Belgium, Switzerland and Germany on international assignments, two of his most recent assignments took him back to Italy and Spain for several months each. He is business fluent in English, French, Italian and Spanish and also speaks Portuguese and Romanian.
Having come from a family of entrepreneurs, he has an entrepreneurial mindset and a deep understanding of challenges such as realignments, succession processes and relocations. His management and leadership style is characterized by this background in the best sense of the word. He takes a solution-oriented approach to day-to-day business and involves employees and stakeholders in developments.
