More about the interim manager

Since becoming a self-employed implementation consultant and interim manager in 2003, he has successfully completed numerous projects and management mandates (often as CFO or commercial director) for industrial companies. The focus has been on topics such as improving corporate management, turnarounds, change management, reorganizations and process optimizations as well as increasing efficiency with regard to process and organizational structures. A particular concern of the interim manager is to develop and implement modern IT-supported management concepts in companies with the employees concerned. His declared aim is to make companies more resilient in the market environment by involving all specialist departments and to keep them "on course" in the long term. The interim manager benefits from the fact that he knows the entire CFO agenda with the corresponding toolbox and interfaces, especially with IT and HR, and has a particular affinity for processes, data management and suitable software solutions. In difficult change management situations, he is able to create win-win situations by turning "those affected into participants" and, if necessary, taking on the role of coach in addition to the leadership role.

The following personal strengths characterize the Interim CFO:

  • Strong entrepreneurial, strategic thinking and action in combination with a holistic, systemic view
  • Experience with all corporate situations (incl.a. Growth, post-merger integration, consolidation, reorganization) and different shareholders (including private equity)
  • Situational (cooperative) leadership of employees
  • Strong communication and assertiveness, Result orientation
  • Familiarity with different, international corporate cultures (corporate and medium-sized companies) as well as all management levels
  • Broad negotiation experience with different stakeholders
