More about the interim manager

The interim manager is a sought-after expert for C-level mandates as well as for challenging mergers and development projects in the life sciences sector. Whether as CEO, COO, CMO, in business development or as a consultant: with his international experience in medical technology, diagnostics and biotechnology and his multilingualism, the interim manager can be deployed in a variety of ways. He successfully launches new medical technology products on the international market or ensures growth in existing markets. Production outsourcing, corporate financing and start-ups are further focal points of his work.

In his most recent mandates, the interim manager led a new department for drug delivery systems in a US-listed pharmaceutical packaging company and optimized key account management. Prior to that, he temporarily headed the international Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance (RA&QA) department at a German medical technology company with 47,000 Stock Keeping Units (SKU). In another mandate, he was in charge of the management board of a Swiss biotech company from the idea to the successful IPO in Frankfurt.

In his more than 30-year career, the interim manager has held various C-level mandates, including at West Pharmaceutical Services, Nestlé, Lumenis, Danfoss, Paul Hartmann, Valtronic and IMI Norgren. His above-average industry expertise in sectors such as medical devices, drug delivery systems, in-vitro diagnostics, cell therapy, digital health, food, energy and security stems from these and other roles.

One of the interim manager's particular strengths is his internationality. Born in the Czech Republic, he has three nationalities - Swiss, Irish and Czech. He speaks four languages: English, German, French and Czech. And he has lived and worked in seven countries: Czech Republic, Switzerland, Great Britain, USA, France, Austria and Germany.

Thanks to these experiences, the interim manager has particularly strong intercultural skills, which he successfully brings to his mandates time and time again. This also applies to his excellent international network, which he is happy to put at the service of his clients. With the experience gained from numerous mandates and management tasks, the interim manager is just as confident at board level as he is with investors and banks or as a representative in front of large audiences (trade fairs, congresses, PR)
