More about the interim manager
The Interim Manager is an internationally experienced C-level executive in the finance sector - with particular expertise in operational excellence and digitalization. He takes on mandates as interim CFO and other management positions in large SMEs or corporate divisions, particularly in the energy and chemical industries. Another focus of the manager is the management of large international projects, where he has repeatedly been entrusted with the development and management of PMOs. In his interim and consulting mandates, he has repeatedly successfully - especially in complex situations - sustainably reduced costs, increased efficiency and realized growth.
In his most recent mandate (2022/2023), the finance professional realigned the accounting, controlling and financing (venture capital) of a German-based offshore wind energy company as Finance Director for wind farms and joint ventures. Prior to this, as Group Finance Director for an international chemical trading company, he set up an international matrix organization. The work included restructuring, refinancing, relocation of subsidiaries and the introduction of new ERP systems. In another mandate (2019), the expert led the PMO to increase efficiency in a global business unit of a company in the entertainment industry. With more than 230 individual measures, he achieved a cost reduction in the double-digit millions.
More than 20 years of international experience and digitalization expertise
The finance and project manager, who trained in Germany, France and England, has been working independently as an interim manager and management consultant since 2018. With his trained eye for the big picture, he brings fresh impetus and improves the status quo both sustainably and efficiently. He offers more than 30 years of experience, largely in complex matrix structures in medium-sized and large companies. His internationality and multinational responsibilities should also be emphasized. As a certified project manager (PRINCE2), he has successfully managed various IT projects, including SAP implementations in ten countries and the introduction of Workday (ERP), LucaNet (consolidation) and MS Power BI (business intelligence). The establishment of shared service centers and offshoring to India, Ireland, Poland and the Philippines were further international projects - as was the business process outsourcing (BPO) of an IT infrastructure with a volume of more than one billion euros.

He has lived and worked abroad for more than 20 years (Luxembourg, Singapore, Switzerland, the UK, France, the Netherlands). He therefore has above-average intercultural skills. He is fluent in English, French and Dutch.
