More about the interim manager

The interim manager takes on roles as CEO, CFO and CRO in the food industry and agriculture. As a consultant, he also supports strategy development, merger, post-merger and spin-off projects. Depending on the situation on site, the interim manager is responsible for a team of employees or works directly for the client's top management. The interim manager has been self-employed since 2005. During this time, he has successfully completed various projects in Switzerland and abroad (Netherlands and United Kingdom). His clients include start-ups as well as companies with several hundred employees.

After completing technical vocational training at a dairy company and studying dairy and milk economics, he trained as an association auditor, whose tasks included auditing the annual financial statements of credit institutions and conducting special audits by BAKred (the predecessor organization of BaFin). His further professional career took the interim manager from plant manager to head of controlling to CFO of an AG with 4,000 employees.

One of the interim manager's special projects is the responsible implementation of mergers, starting with the preparations (presentation to stakeholders, etc.) through to implementation (organizational structure, control processes, IT, location decisions, etc.) including financing. He also supports companies in growth and crisis situations. The interim manager masters the tools required for this - from information systems to production and financial key figures to budgets.

One of the interim manager's strengths is the combination of financial and production expertise. This knowledge enables the interim manager to take on board the opinions of the experts in the company and draw the right conclusions from the overall picture. True to the motto: The biggest enemy of a good idea is a better idea. This basic attitude leads to a high level of acceptance among all stakeholders and, as a result, the interim manager is able to bring about decisions promptly and implement them with the team.
