The interim manager specializes in the development and expansion of international B2B sales organizations, strategic transformations to achieve new growth targets and the opening of new markets, particularly in Asia. Effective realignments for turnarounds in crisis management and restarts from insolvency are further focal points, as is the post-merger integration of international sales organizations.

His focus is on technically sophisticated products. His experience includes projects in mechanical and plant engineering, semiconductor technology, measurement technology and sensor technology, the automotive supply industry and the metalworking industry. As a doctor of physics, he has the technical background to quickly familiarize himself with complex products and the corresponding customer requirements.

In more than 20 years in business development, sales management and management, he has repeatedly successfully established and expanded sales organizations of small and medium-sized companies and realigned them for turnarounds. He has been working as an independent interim manager since the beginning of 2020. Since then, he has been able to support the development of new markets and market segments as well as the generation of qualified strategic leads in two successful projects as a business development manager.

Many years of experience in China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan

Thanks to many years of exchange and intensive cooperation with customers, colleagues, employees and partners in China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan, the interim manager is very familiar with the cultural background and business practices in these countries. He was able to open up and expand the local markets for various companies and products. For example, during his permanent position at a TecDAX company, he expanded the Chinese market in a project he initiated himself. Through cross-divisional measures, he succeeded in generating the largest contribution to the company's turnover in China and expanding the local market share to around 80 percent.

The interim manager combines the analytical approach of a physicist with strategic thinking from business development and operational experience from sales. He always takes a cross-divisional approach to sales projects. After all, in his experience, sustainably successful growth can only be achieved through cooperation across the entire company. He therefore always agrees sales strategies with the specialist departments and coordinates subsequent activities. This overarching approach also enables companies to sustainably manage rapid growth.

The solution-oriented pragmatist is a strong leader who likes to roll up his sleeves and get stuck in. His credo is leadership through the involvement of those involved. He identifies and awakens employees' potential and utilizes it with maximum effectiveness. In doing so, he imparts his expertise and supports the further development of employees.
