More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in purchasing, finance and administration in Industry 4.0. Over the past ten years, he has been Senior Partner and Country Manager at Expense Reduction Analysts. There he supported a large number of medium-sized companies in reducing costs quickly and sustainably. He also trained the members of his teams to become purchasing experts. For the past two years, the interim manager has expanded his portfolio to include the optimization of business processes in purchasing through the introduction of e-procurement and e-invoice systems (source to pay).
The interim manager completed a commercial apprenticeship with a banking apprenticeship and a degree in business administration. In the course of his career, he has worked in consulting up to the position of Principal Consultant for energy and telecommunications. He managed projects for Deutsche Börse, Deutsche Telekom and Ruhrgas. He later held management positions in international corporations: from project manager at Deutsche BP during a restructuring phase to managing IT projects at Novell, the global market leader for networks at the time, to managing director of the German holding company of one of the largest financial services providers.
The interim manager's focus is on purchasing. In recent years, he and his teams have succeeded in achieving short-term savings, usually in the double-digit percentage range, for more than 200 customers. His core expertise lies in interacting with the client's employees and suppliers, but also in process optimization and the introduction of new technologies for e-procurement and e-invoicing due to his strong IT background.
In purchasing, he is a generalist with experience in all areas. His favorite categories are telecommunications and IT.
The interim manager comes from a medium-sized family of entrepreneurs and knows the importance of purchasing for a company's success. His approach is therefore pragmatic and goal-oriented. He relies on fair communication with all parties involved as well as clear guidelines and agreements. He combines this with a very good understanding of IT. As a result, he can not only introduce and optimize systems as a user, but also make use of all the possibilities for integrating business processes. This puts him on an equal footing with developers and suppliers.
