More about the interim manager
The engineering graduate is an interim manager specializing in supply chain management and logistics. His portfolio ranges from the consolidation of global demand assessment to capacity, production and procurement planning (including SAP implementation) and logistics processing at the end of the process chain. He is also well versed in setting up and optimizing corresponding business units and dissolving unprofitable structures. He is particularly familiar with the food, automotive, metal processing and contract logistics sectors.
In his most recent assignment (2023), the interim manager took over demand and supply planning for a global company in the life sciences sector. In the crisis situation at the time, he managed to ensure the organization of the international supply chains in the shortest possible time and at the same time secure the planning tools.
Supply chain management and logistics with entrepreneurial initiative
Before becoming self-employed, the interim manager was managing director of a logistics service provider operating throughout Europe until 2022. In this role, he founded the company, successfully expanded it and led it through several restructurings, including the relocation of several sites and the closure of a logistics center in France.
The interim manager's particular strengths include identifying process weaknesses and developing measures to increase efficiency.
Stakeholders often stick to the tried and tested and consider alternatives to be questionable. This is where the interim manager speaks a clear language and consistently implements changes that are deemed necessary. Thanks to good arguments and open communication at eye level, he is able to convince those involved in these change processes and take them along with him. Thanks to his cooperative management style, he is also able to solve and implement tasks within the team. He does not limit himself to the strategic level, but also works operationally on the implementation of measures.
