More about the interim manager

The interim manager is an expert in corporate communications. His spectrum ranges from projects in international industrial groups and SMEs to communications support for public institutions and cultural organizations. He takes on projects, but is also available to manage communications departments during transitions, illness, pregnancy and parental leave. The interim manager also focuses on web and social media projects as well as crisis communication in the event of major incidents or in situations where the reputation of the brand is at stake.

The interim manager has been self-employed since 2020. During this time, he has provided communications advice to an operator of regional hospitals, among others. Since 2021, the interim manager has been supporting the Ruhr Museum in Essen with the conception and implementation of sophisticated exhibition projects.

Until 2019, the graduate social scientist and historian was responsible for corporate communications and strategic marketing at the HOERBIGER Group in Zug for many years. He gained particular expertise in project responsibility for the communicative and cultural integration of family businesses and start-ups into the international Group structure. Prior to this, he worked in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, including at Hoechst AG, DuPont and Celanese AG. Numerous projects from the interim manager's area of responsibility have been awarded prizes. These include the "German PR Award" in gold and the "Red Dot Best of the Best" award.

Combination of communicative expertise and project management

The interim manager combines operational and strategic expertise with Six Sigma skills (Black Belt SBTI) and a keen sense of efficiency and good processes. He supports his clients strategically, conceptually and operationally. As a trained journalist, he knows the rules of the game in traditional and digital media and uses them to the advantage of his clients. He has a sure hand in dialog with editors, agencies and freelancers. For management, HR and sales, he is a partner at eye level.
