More about the interim manager
The interim manager is a versatile and experienced HR manager with a background in employment law. As a lawyer and mediator, he is the ideal partner for negotiations with works councils and trade unions - from works agreements, reconciliation of interests and social plans to collective bargaining. From his mandates and activities, he knows private companies just as well as the special framework conditions of publicly owned companies. The interim manager also focuses on strategic HR processes: As an expert in systemic organizational development, agile coach and new work consultant, he has a well-stocked toolbox for successfully shaping change processes such as digitalization.
In one of his most recent mandates, the expert developed the concept for a new corporate culture, coordinated legal proceedings and played a leading role in the appointment of a new HR manager as interim HR manager at the municipal transport service provider of a major Hessian city in 2022. Prior to that, he restructured the marketing division of the Munich S-Bahn as an organizational developer. He accompanied the introduction of self-organization, sustainably reduced the sickness rate and thus also increased revenue. As an interim HR manager for a large utility company, he brought the conflicting internal parties back to the table and successfully negotiated a collective wage agreement.

The interim manager has been working independently as an external HR manager, sparring partner and founder since 2013. Prior to this, he worked for many years as an HR manager, labour relations manager and interdisciplinary organizational developer in corporations and large medium-sized companies. His management experience ranges from team leader to labor director and CHRO. He was Managing Director of subsidiaries of DB Regio AG for eight years and Managing Director of DEVK Service GmbH for three years. He has used his entrepreneurial spirit to drive forward various start-ups: from specialist retailers to a company health insurance fund and a railroad company.
