More about the interim manager
The interim manager is an expert in setting up, expanding and realigning finance departments. The Austrian with an international education and many years of experience abroad is equally at home in corporate groups as he is in medium-sized companies and start-ups. His mandates focus on financial accounting, the post-merger integration of financial divisions and support for inorganic growth (M&A).
In his most recent mandates, the interim manager was in charge of transferring the Austrian accounting for the Douglas perfumery chain to the retail group's new shared service center (SSC) for DACH. Prior to that, he was instrumental in driving forward the Oracle integration of the German business into the Indian and Polish SSC for the US company FedEx. In another mandate for a global market leader in the field of agricultural technology, he transferred eleven European branches into a new SSC Germany.
International experience: UAE, North America and South Africa
One of the interim manager's particular strengths is his internationality. Over the past five years, he has held mandates in Germany and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai). Prior to that, he spent eleven years as Head of Finance at the US branch of the German metal and plastics processing company Heckler & Koch. Other important career milestones include 13 years as CFO at GLOCK in Austria as well as several years abroad in Canada and South Africa.
The interim manager brings a pronounced can-do mentality with him, particularly from these foreign assignments. This attitude is complemented by particular intercultural experience. In the international teams, he was able to gain the experience that makes him an excellent team player and team leader.
