More about the interim manager

The interim manager is an expert in the development and optimization of finance departments and finance processes in medium-sized companies. Clients benefit in particular from his extensive experience in the digitalization of financial processes - from accounting to workflow - as well as in the introduction of ERP systems. The expert also specializes in restructuring and post-merger integration, such as the relocation or closure of sites. The graduate economist and accountant seeks mandates as interim CFO or in comparable roles as well as project manager.

The expert has been self-employed as an interim manager and consultant since 2024. In his most recent project, as Finance Director of a medium-sized telecommunications company in central Germany, he realigned the processes from contract tendering and awarding to billing across departments and digitized key processes. From 2021 to 2023, as Finance Manager, he was responsible for setting up and managing the project controlling for the construction of a production plant of the Beiersdorf Group in Leipzig with a project volume of more than 300 million euros. Prior to this, the interim manager was most recently commercial director of the MTK Group, one of Germany's largest medium-sized companies for chilled baked goods and food, as well as project controller for the European initiatives of a globally active baked goods group.

Internationally and interculturally competent manager

The interim manager is just as familiar with the matrix organizations of listed international corporations as he is with owner-managed medium-sized companies. Clients attest to his empathetic management style. He takes both managers and teams along with him and motivates them. Whether in internal discussions or in negotiations with external stakeholders: With his objective and moderating communication style, the expert has repeatedly successfully helped to resolve conflicts and avoid escalations.

In international assignments with longer stays abroad (Romania, India), he has also been able to develop his intercultural skills to a great extent. The interim manager, who lives in Görlitz and is married to a Polish woman, also maintains close contacts in his wife's home country and in the Czech Republic.
