More about the interim manager

The interim manager is a CFO with a focus on private equity portfolio companies, start-ups and scale-ups as well as medium-sized companies in industry and commerce. On the one hand, he is the right choice to build up finance departments and finance teams. This also includes the selection, introduction and optimization of ERP systems and processes for liquidity management and cash flow control. Another mainstay of the interim manager is the preparation and implementation of M&A processes and due diligence. He also offers execution and post-acquisition support.

In one of his most recent projects, the interim manager managed the M&A process for an e-commerce company and set up the data room for the due diligence. He also created the integrated long-term planning for the information memorandum and the factbook. Prior to that, as interim CFO, he set up the finance department and finance team in a private equity portfolio company in such a way that both could meet the high demands of a PE investor. Shortly after the sale to a strategic US investor, he was interim CFO at a successful start-up. As interim CFO, he was responsible for setting up the accounting team, the interim financial statements, the annual financial statements and the post-merger integration of the financial processes (reporting in accordance with US GAAP and cash pooling).

Mandates in e-commerce, start-ups, SMEs and private equity

In total, the interim manager has completed more than ten mandates in e-commerce, start-ups and SMEs as well as for private equity investors since 2017. Prior to that, he was CFO with sole power of attorney at technical dealer Sahlberg GmbH, Managing Director at a manufacturer of caravan vehicles and CFO and Commercial Director at industrial companies.

The interim manager is confident in communicating with family trunks, financial investors and banks. His experience from restructuring projects is particularly useful here.

Thanks to his focused and planned approach, he quickly gains the trust of the people involved. He is a welcome coach and leader for team members and a valued sparring partner for founders and entrepreneurs.
