More about the interim manager
The interim manager holds a degree in business administration and has 25 years of management experience as a CFO/Finance Director in industry. He has been an independent consultant since 2020. He has extensive knowledge of the planning, management and operational implementation of change processes. This includes outsourcing accounting, implementing carve-out and post-merger processes and adapting controlling structures for international sales units.
As an interim CFO or commercial director, the interim manager takes on the technical management of financial departments, manages the annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS as well as planning and reporting in line with (group) specifications. He coordinates commercial projects, such as SAP conversions and restructuring of administration and logistics, and supports the development and optimization of a compliance system.
It is particularly important to him that such processes are fully supported by all employees involved. He achieves this through a high level of transparency in the communication of objectives and the involvement of employees in the planning of implementation.
The interim manager has a strong hands-on mentality. He has an affinity for numbers and is stress-resistant. He pursues pragmatic approaches to solutions and has the creativity and willingness to implement unconventional solutions depending on the situation. As a manager, he pursues a cooperative management style and open communication: he prefers to convince rather than instruct. The interim CFO is customer-oriented and sees the finance department as a service function within the overall organization and as a business partner for the other departments and the management.
