More about the interim manager
The banker, who trained in Switzerland and the USA, is an interim manager with a focus on finance and CFO positions. He has also successfully supported SMEs and start-ups in financial matters as a coach in situations of upheaval or as a long-term part-time CFO on call.
The interim manager worked in finance functions in a DAX-listed company for 16 years, including twelve years in a management role. Among other things, he was managing director of subsidiaries in the call center and innovation sectors for six years. As Group CFO of a private equity and founder-managed sales company, he successfully restructured and exited the company.
After a sound education (banker, studies at the University of St. Gallen and in the USA, further training as a Chartered Financial Analyst, CFA), the interim manager developed into an all-round CFO with a focus on challenging management situations in medium-sized companies and start-ups.
He has a proven ability to map and further develop operational controlling and accounting processes. As an experienced manager, he successfully leads small and large teams through change processes. This is evidenced by his four most recent mandates, where the interim manager worked in founder- or private equity-led companies in situations of upheaval.
Investors, founders, team members and other stakeholders attest to his unpretentious, authentic management style and strong communication skills.
As an "Excel enthusiast", the interim manager has repeatedly set up company models to map challenging reporting situations. By linking key figures, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and adjustments, he knows how to present financial processes holistically and create the transparency required for sustainable decisions.
